Suzanne Kelly-Garrison is a novelist and a poet. Her first book, Stolen Child, a lyrical Irish-American novel told from the point-of-view of nine-year-old Lucy Fahey during the Kennedy era, appeared from Bottom Dog Press in 2013. Stolen Child was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and won the Thorpe Menn Award for Excellence from Kansas City Star. She has received two Montgomery County (Ohio) Culture Works grants for fiction.
Kelly-Garrison graduated from the University of Kansas with a BA in English and a law degree. She also holds an MA in English from Indiana University. A former Assistant Ohio Attorney General, she currently is a Senior Lecturer of Law at Wright State University, and lives in Dayton, OH with her husband, the poet David Garrison.
